IPN's fiber network is installed in the existing electrical utility conduit system that connects every building through the electrical grid. Installing fiber optic cable in the existing utility infrastructure minimizes costs while providing a highly reliable and safe environment for telecommunication infrastructure. Using the utility infrastructure provides a redundant path to the existing local phone company (ILEC) fiber, and enables fiber cable to be pulled directly into customers buildings without invasive construction techniques. Metro Ethernet Transport Services:
IPN's Metro Ethernet Transport Services provide the ultimate in scalability and flexibility with bandwidth from 1- 1,000 Mbps. The Metro Ethernet service uses MPLS-based layer 2 Ethernet over fiber to connect remote offices and data centers or to provide reliable transport for internet access and voice over IP.
